Charles M. Lee Jr. has held multiple leadership roles over a 20‑year career with the federal government, directing and developing high‑performing programs and teams. He currently serves as section chief for Department of Defense programs at the U.S. General Services Administration and previously served as area director for Southern California and Nevada at the agency. He has also served as a mentor for the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders.
Mr. Lee is a former CIRI Participation Committee member and an enrolled member of the Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Chaminade University, an MBA from Hawaii Pacific University and a graduate certificate from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. He also completed a senior executive fellowship at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Mr. Lee has served on the CIRI Board of Directors since 2025.
