Cynthia L. Muller is the director of Mission‑Driven Investments at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, where she oversees a $160 million portfolio focused on reducing racial wealth inequality. Born and raised in Alaska, she previously served on the CIRI Participation Committee and worked at Southcentral Foundation. Ms. Muller earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Washington, with support from The CIRI Foundation and the Sealaska Heritage Institute.
Ms. Muller brings nearly 20 years of transactional and portfolio management experience and a career‑long commitment to expanding access to capital markets for Native, Indigenous and Black communities. She serves on the boards of Enterprise Community Loan Fund, Mission Investor Exchange, Slack for Good, TONIIC and ABFE; on the investment committee of the Cleveland Community Foundation; and as a Trustee of the CIRI Settlement Trust. She has been a member of the CIRI Board of Directors since 2021.
