Douglas W. Fifer is a retired Municipality of Anchorage police officer and a successful Alaskan entrepreneur with a long-standing commitment to public service and community leadership. He previously served as a union representative for the Anchorage Police Department Employees Association and continues to contribute his time and expertise to numerous nonprofit organizations across Alaska and the Lower 48.
Mr. Fifer serves as a director of the Alaska Native Justice Center. He is a member of the compensation committee and serves as a director and finance committee chair for Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC), as well as vice chair of CITC Enterprises, Inc., the for-profit subsidiary of CITC. He serves as a Trustee of the CIRI Settlement Trust and has been a member of the CIRI Board of Directors since 2006.
