Lisa K. Huffman

Lisa K. Huffman is the owner and managing member of Huffman Properties LLC, a residential and commercial real estate investment company. She previously served as chief administrative officer for The Aleut Corporation, the Alaska Native regional corporation for the Aleutian Islands, where she oversaw budgets, contract negotiations and core functions including administration, board engagement, communications, human resources, information technology, shareholder relations and workforce development. A 27‑year employee of the Anchorage School District and Fairbanks North Star Borough School District, she concluded her education career in 2018 as principal of Bear Valley Elementary School.

Ms. Huffman’s board and committee service includes the Alaska Federation of Natives, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Alaska Pacific University’s Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program (ANELP), ANCSA Regional Association, Kenaitze Indian Tribe and University of Alaska Anchorage. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education and administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage and attended ANELP. Ms. Huffman is an enrolled member of the Kenaitze Indian Tribe and has served on the CIRI Board of Directors since 2024.
