Margaret L. Brown

Margaret “Margie” L. Brown began her career with CIRI in 1976 as an assistant land planner and held numerous leadership positions with the company, including serving as CIRI president and CEO from 2005 to 2013. Her board service includes Alaska Communications Group Inc. and Alaska Communications Systems Holding Inc., and she served as chair of the Student Conservation Association Board of Directors. She has also served as vice chair of the National Museum of the American Indian Board of Trustees.

Ms. Brown currently serves on the Alaska Airlines Advisory Board and on the Board of Trustees of the Desert Caballeros Western Museum as secretary and vice chair. She previously served on the CIRI Board of Directors from 1984-1987 and 2002-2005, and is currently serving for a third time, beginning in 2016.
